The Pick Of Pay TV Optus: Sult, Ovation, 9pm Tuesday 1 September 1998 CROWD-PLEASER Michael Flatley is probably the last person on Earth who'll be making an appearance on this new weekly Irish music series - just as well too. For while Flatley struts and sweats Broadway razzmatazz, the musicians here are completely at home with the intimate settings and traditions of their native music. This is an intimate, low-key and unpretentious half-hour show were you'll see and hear a host of Irish musicians, from traditional balladeers to contemporary rock bands. *Sult* is Gaelic for enjoyment, and it's palpable here. Van Morrison is tonight's guest, with a joyous rendition of his early song *St Dominic's Preview*; future episodes will feature Eddi Reader (from Fairground Attraction), the Hothouse Flowers, Elvis Costello (left), Mark Knopfler and Sinead O'Connor.
