COSTELLO SINGS WITH THE RADIO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
 
As usual,The Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra will have visitors this Christmas. 
Elvis Costello is coming here to do the annual "Trettondagskonserten" on 
January 5th. The event, which has been arranged for a few years has previously 
presented such unexpected musical collaborations as Orup and Katarina Dalayman, 
Louise Hoffsten and Peter Jablonski, Magnus Uggla and Christian Lindberg.

Elvis Costello performed at two sold-out houses in the "Berwaldhallen" already in 
1996, then in collaboration with Ann-Sofie von Otter. On January 5th. he returns 
to do yet another concert with Swedish Radios Symphony Orchestra and the 
Radio Choir, and this time heŽll perform his own songs, as well as songs written 
with Burt Bacharach.
