Sublime Star Combination

/.../ And so started this well-reported crossover-concert, the performance
without borders with the two very different stars; Anne Sofie von Otter
from the art music and EC from the pop music. Both with a great interest
for each others field and knowledge./.../
EC is a remarkable thing, a talented songwriter, an ever-changing musician,
after TJL he took a big step into Anne Sofie von Otter's musical world.
He sang a piece from that and another song. His very special voice that
strolls around in only one level is very attractive in the long run.
Their joined performance was sublime, in a class of it's own, a succesful
combination.
In particular, Baby, It's Cold Outside was, in all it's strangeness, an
absolute hit and very amusing. Autumn Leaves, another old evergreen also
turned into a showstopper mainly because von Otter's version was in French.
She's wise enough to put away the opera-like voice and instead sing
sweatly, rythmically and so true to the lyrics, she can compete with the very
best./.../There is no better way to celebrate your Trettondagsafton 
(Thirteenth Day of Christmas) than this.
