Elvis finally came to Atlanta last night and he put on quite a show. I
don't want to start into the Dummies thread again but just let me say
that I have NEVER seen fans leaving an Elvis concert during songs like
Watching the Detectives, Radio Radio and ALISON. It was just
incredible watching the dummies stream out of the amphitheatre. Some
folks actually got up and left right after CTD's set.

Anyways, I was hoping that EC would do something special to wind up the
tour but he ended up sticking pretty close to previous set lists that
have been posted. I decided to go ahead and keep track of what he
played so here goes:

No Action
The Beat
Waiting for the End of the World
Beyond Belief
Sulky Girl
London's Brilliand Parade
Deep Dark Truthful Mirror
Pony Street
Less Than Zero
Clown Strike
Kinder Murder
Clubland (he interjected part of George Benson's "On Broadway"
Rocking Horse Road
Man Out of Time
Watching the Detectives
YOu Belong to Me
13 Steps/Radio Radio

1st encore:
Lipstick Vogue (segues into I don't want to go to Chelsea and then back
to L.V.
Party Girl

2nd encore:
EC and Steve acoustic => I can't remember the name of this one, can one
of the Atlanta folks help me out?

My Sci Fi Twin
ALison with Tracks of my Tears, Tears of A Clown and Clowntime is over
interpolated
Accidents will Happen

3rd Encore
All the rage
What's So funny bout Peace, Love and Understanding
Pump It Up

All in all it was a great show just as the rest of you have experienced.
This was the first time I have seen EC outdoors and although I would've
preferred a Fox or Civic Center show this evening under the stars was
thoroughly enjoyable. I especially liked being able to bring in my own
food and beverages so I didn't have to miss a second of the show while
waiting in line at the concession stand. I think the folks who actually
paid money for concessions at Chastain must either be reas stupid or
just didn't know that you could bring your own in.

Highlights for me included Beyond Belief (I loved the mix he used on
this one), Clubland was incredible (I really wanted to hear New Lace
Sleeves too but this kinda made up for it), From the new album I really
enjoyed Sci Fi twin and finally ALison was one of the best versions I
have heard him do.

I look forward to hearing comments from the other Atlanta folks on the
list.

Did anyone try to tape the show?
