A previous post did an excellent job summing up EC & the A's performance at
Chicago's World Theater Saturday nite.  To touch upon a point he made about
he CTDs--yes, they were pretty much a non-entity for me and my friends, at
least, but what was sad was that a number of people, in the $45 seasts up
front just plain got up and left after CTDs 9 song or whatever boring set. 
Similarly, you had streams of people filing out during the encores...as he
was playing..

Elvis WAS fantastic--lotsa songs, whata selection and whata performance.  He
said he called it the "Tie Down Your Mothers Tour." 
T-shirts (I got the one with EC&A, More Than You Deserve) were $23--all
styles were black (I counted 3 styles).

The sound was really muddy--EC shirked back from the mike during massive
feedback on one of the 1st songs played.
