Well, many thanks to Michele Harvey and here husband Mike for bringing the
Black and Red Brutal youth balloons and saving a spot for us at the PG
Equestrian Center.

Tim Windsor, Traigh, and Jim Henley - Sorry I didn't get to meet Y'all, by the
time we got there (around 7:00 pm) It would have been a real struggle to get
up to the front to find you. I am envious, but on the other hand, since MY
very tolerant wife Donna was still not too mobile (she with the broken foot
still healing) it was probably for the best.

Michele filled everyone in on the soap opera happening in front of us, I've
never seen anyone who could cry instantly on cue like this guy could, it was
very funny and entertaining to watch.

Anyway, no one mentioned the absolutely KILLER (in my Opinion) version of
Mystery dance that they did. My wife and I were totally blown away by it.

We were disappointed that the Attractions did barely any backing vocals. The
only song that I can recall was during "Red Shoes" where it would have sounded
really stupid without backing vocals.

I have to say that the band was really tight, especially on the older songs
that they really know well. Steve Nieve was unbelievable on the keys.

All I could say afterwords was WOW!

Crash Test Dummies notes: I can't say that they were terrible, they're music
is not offensive or anything, they just are not dynamic on stage, they have no
stage presence to speak of. The best song they did was when the keyboard
player sang lead on a cover song about Samson and Delilah. The song was done
by the Washington Squares on their first album.
Other than that, they were kind of boring, good background music when you're
waiting to use the port-o-john (no, I was not one of those folks who used the
side of the track as a urinal)

A fun time was has by all. I was especially excited to hear "Puppet Girl"
since it seemed that he hadn't played it in any recent shows.

SONGS I WISH HE HAD PLAYED: Man Out of Time, 20% Amnesia.
Oh well.

One more question to those who have been to other shows/DC show:

My T-Shirt, the "More than you deserve" has the EC and the Attractions More
than you deserve on the FRONT, and the Photo of EC and the boys on the BACK.
Did they do this on purpose? The Extra Larges were printed the opposite way.

Just curious...
