Offer


Greetings all registered people. We have now reached the stage in the
process where we have more people registered than we have tickets
available, and you, as a registrant, are included in the Sweetwaters
Ticket offer.


Most, if not all of you, will have received the Sweetwaters Newspaper,
with early statements of bands confirmed and the types of
entertainment, foods, facilities etc., that will be available at the
Festival. Please remember, though the Festival seems huge already, what
you have seen confirmed to date is going to grow massively. It is our
intention to confirm one international artist and ten local artists per
week, for the next 16 weeks!

1.Due to registrant demand (we have had over 5,000 e-mails and letters
requesting this) - the maximum number of tickets being offered to each
person registered will now be 8 (eight). We have had pointed out to us
that very few families or flats have as few as two people - and that
most have up to eight. 


2.The increased offer of eight tickets to each person registered WILL
mean that we must conduct the offer on the basis of first come, first
served. When we have reached the allowed sales point of 40,000
attendees - we must stop selling!


3.There are a number of questions on the Ticket Application. Answering
these will help us to help you. There are questions about camping and
children - all of which will make the Festival more enjoyable for you
if you take a minute to answer them.


4. On the 21st August, if there are tickets still available, they will
be purchasable on EFTPOS via the web-site as well. 


5.Within 2 weeks of purchasing your ticket(s), you will receive it/them
in the post - along with another series of questions. These questions,
when answered and returned, may allow us to allocate a camp-site to you
near to your friends. All questions will relate to the number on your
ticket . We promise nothing, but with the information you provide, we
can try. Please return these as soon as possible to allow us the time
to process. And DON'T lose your ticket!!!!! They will not be
replaceable. Put it somewhere safe.


6.Finally, in early December, you will be sent a full Programme of the
Festival - telling you WHO will be performing on WHICH of the 12
stages/Performance Tents WHEN and WHERE - and giving you ALL the
information you will need to make the Festival fantastic for you.


We look forward to having you at  Sweetwaters 1999 - and will be in
contact with those who purchase tickets soon.
