his page is aimed as an aid to the more serious Costello collector, and hopefully will answer some of the commonly asked questions like: "What is a copy of ****** worth?" or "What is the rarest Costello record?". Of course, I hope it also proves entertaining enough for those with just a casual interest in Costello as I shall be displaying pictures and describing some of those rarer items that get fans drooling!

Here are a few conditions and rules about the information on this page:

Because my knowledge is mainly limited to discography items and while the subject of this web site is the Elvis Costello Discography I shall restict the items included here to just records, CDs, tapes and the like. However, I may break this rule if something really interesting turns up!
All items are legal - I'm not interested in bootlegs.
All items are considered mint or near-mint. It's pointless comparing items that are not of a similar condition.
All items are as 'shop bought'. If an item contains artists signatures or anything else that is likely to increase it's value then it belongs to a special group and will be omitted.
All values mentioned here are NOTabsolute. They are either someone's estimate or what someone was prepared to pay. The prices are NOT law!

So to get the ball rolling I shall start by including a list of what I consider to be the TOP TWENTY Elvis Costello collectables, followed by a PRICE GUIDE guide to help those who are buying or selling. This list will be updated as and when I find out what an item's current value is.
