Brit Awards, 2000

Best Soundtrack/Cast Recording: 'Notting Hill'

The most successful British film of all time also gave us one of the most intriguing collection of top names ever to share space on one album. Old timers Al Green and Elvis Costello showed up, as did the ever dependable Texas, and Ronan Keating weighed in with his debut solo offering 'When You Say Nothing At All', a summer chart-topper. All this and the phenomenally successful Shania Twain too! The award was presented by American Beauty actress Thora Birch and Ronnie Wood to Emma Chambers who had a supporting role in Notting Hill.
