Interview details: EC was asked firstly to sign an original vinyl My Aim is True for one of the presenters, and to roll the "student dice" for a telephone caller as part of a running thread, which advised her to spend the day increasing her student loan. Then the conversation turned to the standard topics of the moment: the reason for the re-recording of She; performing in Abbey Road with the 96 piece London Symphony Orchestra; performing the Party in the Park after Ronan Keating "They were screaming when he went off and still screaming when I came on, I think for different reasons"; the Burt Bacharach collaboration, which led onto a clip from Austin Powers, and EC talking about cameos. He said there were a couple more cameos happening later this year, and that he really enjoyed being treated like a King for a day on the movie sets. He also talked about increasing the range of what he could do and what he was known for - no longer just singing his own songs but singing other people's, and writing good music, not just good lyrics with tunes. He would like to write some music without words.

Review: This was quite a nice interview, considering it was a daytime magazine programme. Elvis was allowed to talk without being cut off too much, and although obvious, the questions weren't too trivial. He sang She to close the show, intercut with scenes from Notting Hill. It wasn't the best performance of this song that I have heard, but he finished it with a big smile, and I think live vocals are a rarity on this show so the reception from the studio was very warm.
