Many people think that the support band for the Elvis Costello and The Attractions concert at the Canberra Theatre last Wednesday is on the verge of a hit.
Sydney band The Electric Pandas plays at the audience rather than for it. The Pandas burst on with the nice and tight "TV Dogs."
Australia's answer to Suzi Quatro, vocalist Lin Buckfield, may be tiny but she is confident and has a great voice as she showed in "Lucy Is" and "Radio Simulcast."
The song the band has just released as a single, "Big Girls," isn't the best of their repertoire so it will be interesting to see how it goes.
We are likely to see and hear more of The Electric Pandas.
