Costello apologizes to Casper fan
Star-Tribune
Thomas French, the man who bought and gave away 67 tickets to see Elvis Costello at the Casper Events Center, received a personal apology from Costello regarding the cancellation of the Casper show.
"It was cool that he thought enough" to personally apologize, French said.
In addition to the written apology, French received a autographed T-shirt and autographed sweatshirt from Costello, he said.
However, French is unsure whether he will wear the shirts as they are from Costello's current tour and it is kind of "false advertising" to wear a shirt from a tour which you did not attend, the fan said.
Despite the disappointment French felt when Costello cancelled the Casper show, he says he is still a big fan of the English artist.
The next time Costello plays in Denver, French will be there, the fan said.
