Elvis Costello & The Imposters to play Northerly Island in June
Jessi Roti
Elvis Costello & The Imposters are bringing their new "Imperial Bedroom & Other Chambers" show to Chicago's Northerly Island Monday, June 12.
Taking songs from the band's 1983 album "Imperial Bedroom," Costello and his band reimagine tracks like "Tears Before Bedtime" and "Pidgin English" to fit how they hear and feel the songs today. Costello debuted the show in the fall of 2016.
Drummer Pete Thomas and pianist Steve Nieve, who originally played with Costello on "Imperial Bedroom" will be accompanied by Davey Faragher on bass, as well as vocalists Kitten Kuroi and YahZarah.
Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Friday through Livenation.
