Dallas Morning News

Elvis Costello, whose latest album, My Aim Is True, is No. 68 on the national best seller charts this week, will perform one show at 10 p.m. Saturday at Faces. Tickets, priced at $4 will be available at the door beginning at 8 p.m. RCA recording artists Fandango will perform a free concert at Faces Sunday. Shug Mauldin, two-time winner of the Kerrville Folk Festival, will open the Costello show.

Ms. Mauldin is headlining at Faces through Friday. The upcoming Faces schedule also includes The Wommack Brothers from Austin, Tuesday through Feb. 4; Ray Wylie Hubbard, Feb. 8-12, Mother of Pearl, Feb. 14-18; Cornell Hurd and the Mondo Hot Pants Orchestra, Feb. 19; Paul Ray and the Cobras, Feb. 21-25; Backbone, Rusty Wier's backup band, Feb. 28-March 1; Rusty Wier and Backbone, March 2-4; Bugs Henderson, March 8-11; Shake Russell, March 14-18; and Billy Jo Shaver, March 21-25.
