Elvis snaps, crackles and pops
Kim McAuliffe
Elvis Costello
Trust
Once again, Costello proves himself to be one of the most prolific songwriters of modern music — 14 terse tracks are offered on this disc. And he's not only quick at pumping out albums (this one on the very heels of Get Happy), but he's good at creating nifty little rock 'n' roll songs that snap, crackle and pop.
Just put the needle down anywhere. You won't be disappointed. Even the country-western rave-up, "Different Finger," moves with clever spark.
