Elvis and Everlys lined up for gigs...

Tony O'Brien

You may still be thinking about the summer holidays in Spain and Dylan at Slane but already plans are being laid for your autumn entertainment.

News has come through this week that His Highness Elvis Costello will be returning to these shores in September for a number of dates.

He is being brought in again by Asgard and will play Belfast's Ulster Hall on Sept. 27th, Galway's Leisureland on the 28th and the National Stadium on the 29th. Tickets should go on sale soon.

Then in October the legendary Everly Brothers will be coming to pay us a visit in another rim Aiken Promotion.

They will be in the New Victoria Theatre, Belfast, on October 18th and the RDS on the 19th and 20th. The Everlys only got back together last year and such was the success of that show they decided to do some more.

Ticket details are not to hand as yet but as soon as I get them I'll pass them on.

MCD are bringing back Depeche Mode and Big Country in October also.
