Some of the country's rock greats have voted the poetry of Yeats a big hit.
Stars such as Elvis Costello, Paul Brady and the Stunning are due to play a special benefit gig tomorrow night to help raise funds for a Yeats festival at Dublin's Abbey theatre.
The proceeds from the concert to be held at the Abbey, will go to the Yeats foundation.
Joining the rockers on stage will be big names from the traditional world.
Among them will be Andy Irvine, Dónal Lunny, Altan and the Voice Squad.
Concert organiser, producer and composer Bill Whelan said today other surprise guests will take part.
Also performing will be poets John Montague, Theo Dorgan and Paula Meehan.
