Elvis Costello and Mile Hi did a concert at Zellerbach Auditorium on February 7 and it was a show to remember. Costello and his group, the Attractions, performed an admirable set of tunes from their first album, My Aim Is True (Columbia Records 35037), in front of a sold-out auditorium. Mile Hi, a Hayward-based group, opened up the show and were greeted warmly by an otherwise Costello-cult following. Their set included such originals as "You've got me Runnin," "Hot to Go" and "One Nation." The two guitarists, Mark Ross and John Nyman, played some fine solos. The highlight of their set was the drum solo by David Notary. Bass guitarist Tom Duke certainly played skillfully through the entire performance. The group is scheduled to play with Journey in Salinas this weekend.
