I am so impressed that EC has agreed to appear at the New Orleans Jazzfest again this year. He did a brilliant set there last year and got an amazing reception. When other big bands have turned down invitations to appear at Jazzfest this year, just when New Orleans needs all the support it can get, I am so pleased that there are some British bands who are magnanimous enough to appreciate the need of a great city and their debt to its music.
