One of the most exciting singer/songwriters of the new wave sound, must surely be Elvis Costello.
The twenty-four-year old lean, lanky singer is not everybody's idea of a rock star, with his conservative hairstyle, collar and tie and black horn-rimmed spectacles — but his music is sensational.
His best known hits include "Red Shoes," "Watching The Detectives" and "Oliver's Army."
