Costello does dad a favour
Alan Golden
Declan MacManus, alias singing and songwriting star Elvis Costello, did his dad a favour last week by turning up to play at a charity evening at Hampton Wick pub The White Hart.
The living legend was a surprise guest at an essentially Irish musical evening organised by step-mum Sara and his dad, the trumpet-playing band leader Ross MacManus, to raise money for autistic children.
