Caspary Accompagné par The Attractions, ce guitariste anglais vient pour la première fois en Suisse romande. Il est sans aucun doute un des papas de la “new wave” anglaise. Costello commence sa carrière professionnelle en août 1976 quand il signe chez Stiff Records, un label extrèmement riche en artistes inédit. Avec Ian Dury, Moon Martin et The Clash, Costello tiendra pendant de longs mois les sommets des “charts” anglais. On le retrouve maintenant sous un autre label, F-Beat Records, auquel toute cette soirée du 12 juillet est consacrée.
