Elvis Costello will be presented in concert in Grace Hall on Apr. 12, Student Activities Council (SAC) concert chairman Walter Kunz, '80, said at the council's Mar. 21 meeting.
Tickets for the show are $7.50 and $8 and went on sale Monday, Apr. 2.
The previously announced Apr. 22 Toto concert has been moved to Muhienberg College, Kunz said. Tom Makoul, producer of both shows, shifted the location because of scheduling problems when Elvis Costello became available in late March, Kunz said. The SAC agreed to the switch even though scheduling and then cancelling Toto "might make us look silly" because there was "a gut feeling that more people would prefer to see Elvis than Toto," Kunz said.
The Rubinoos will be the opening act at the Grace Hall concert.
