Elvis Costello & The Imposters and Blondie have joined forces for a co-headlining coast-to-coast, 13-city summer tour that will spend a significant amount of time in Southern California.
The jaunt, produced by Live Nation, will hit Pechanga Summit at Pechanga Resort & Casino (45000 Pechanga Parkway) in Temecula on Aug. 2 followed by performances at FivePoint Amphitheatre (14800 Chinon) in Irvine on Aug. 4 and the Greek Theatre (2700 N. Vermont Ave.) in Los Angeles on Aug. 5.
Artist fan club presale tickets are available now and tickets go on sale to the general public starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6 at LiveNation.com.
Both acts have a pretty long history together as they gained popularity during the rise of New Wave in the '70s. Neither of the bands is relying on nostalgia, however, as both acts are continuing to release new music. Costello's latest record, Look Now, was just released last year and Blondie put out Pollinator in 2017.
