Elvis Costello courts many styles

Elvis Costello has made his mark on numerous genres in his 28 years of performing, but his best-known work comes from his performances with The Attractions, The Imposters and pianist Steve Nieve. Costello and The Imposters will perform tonight at the Riverdome at Horseshoe Casino and Hotel.
Costello has collaborated with Burt Bacharach, The Brodsky Quartet, Paul McCartney, Anne Sofie von Otter, Bill Frisell, Roy Nathanson and more.
One of his most recent collaborations came in 2003 with his wife, jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall. This partnership resulted in six songs and her highly successful album The Girl in the Other Room.
Costello was awarded a Grammy in 1998 for "I Still Have That Other Girl." He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2003 with his band The Attractions.
His recent albums have also earned Grammy nominations.
In 2004, Costello was nominated for an Oscar for Best Song. The Scarlet Tide" was sung by Alison Krauss in the film Cold Mountain.
