The Reels are fast becoming the Australian band most in demand as a support band for overseas artists.
Their most recent support was with Elvis Costello in Brisbane earlier this week where they played to a full house.
Before the Elvis Costello appearance, the Reels were working their own tour in New South Wales and they finished that this week in Sydney.
They'll be at the Bayview Tavern tonight.
When they wrap up this local circuit, The Reel will then set out on a four-week tour with The Machjnutions. That tour starts in Adelaide on June 7.
After seeing some of the recent overseas groups in action, one must give the Reels credit for being one of the best synthesiser bands in the world
