Talk:No Dancing

Hello All,

I am lauching this discussion about some correction I'd like to make to No Dancing lyrics.

When you listen to the song (LP or live version), during the bridge after the 2 first verses, one can clearly understand

He finds that her brother’s not so easy to please

One can also found her brother’s in the EC songbook "A Singing Dictionnary".

So I would like to replace

He finds that the girl is not so easy to please

by

He finds that her brother’s not so easy to please

both in Lyrics and Chords section.

If no one gives opposition to this, I will consider it as an agreement and replace it. (Let's say within a week).

Kind regards, Christophe 21:31, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Hi Christophe,
I have listened very carefully and am sure it is "the girl". In live versions it is much clearer that he sings "the girl". Of course, he may sing different lyrics in a live version, so that it not a good argument. But "her brother" does not fit the meaning of the rest of the verse, or the song for that matter. No dancing = no sex, right?

The girl / A girl / her brother

Quite confused...

In this live video [1] I see and hear "A girl".
