I propose verbose naming conventions rather than short abbreviations, in order to make the wiki search engine easy to use.
Spaces or Underscores
As far as I can tell, the wiki software treats spaces as underscores when it needs to, so within the markup, we can use spaces in page names and image names, and then the wiki convert to underscores when it needs to -- in urls, image names, and wherever else.
Image Sizes
Images should be loosely grouped into the following categories:
1. large - over 500x500px 2. small - 200x200px 3. thumb - 50x50px
Albums
yyyy_Name_Name_Name_Name_Album_size, for instance:
1977_My_Aim_Is_True_Album_large.jpg 1977_My_Aim_Is_True_Album_small.jpg - anything around 240 pixels 1977_My_Aim_Is_True_Album_thumb.jpg 1996_Costello_&_Nieve_Album_small.jpg 1996_Costello_&_Nieve_D1_Troubadour_Los_Angeles_thumb.jpg 1996_Costello_&_Nieve_D3_Park_West_Chicago_thumb.jpg
