According to MusicTAP, Elvis Costello's next album is scheduled for release September 7 on the Hear Music label.
It was recorded in Nashville with producer T Bone Burnett over a nine day period toward the end of February and beginning of March.
Members of The Sugarcanes and The Imposters are rumored to have been involved in the sessions. A confirmed participant is Jim Lauderdale, who mentioned his involvement in a recent interview, noting that Elvis "cut a lot of songs" and speculating that a song they wrote together (possibly Poor Borrowed Dress or I've Lost You) may appear on the album.
Other songs in Elvis' recent concert repertoire which could perhaps appear on the album include:
