• “Around Robert Wyatt” is a unique collaboration between Robert Wyatt and Daniel Yvinec, with the 10-piece National Jazz Orchestra of France - released initially as a limited 2CD set, with bonus material.

• The compositions are either by Wyatt, or chosen by him - including the famous “Shipbuilding”, written for him by Elvis Costello and Clive Langer - with vocal interpretations by Wyatt himself on many tracks, plus guest singers: Rokia Traore, the award-winning Malian singer; top French singers Camille, Arno, and Daniel Darc; actress Irene Jacob (‘Three Colours Red’), and the highly successful French-Tunisian-Israeli songstress & songwriter, Yael Naim.

• The voices were recorded first, a cappella, and then were dressed in inventive orchestral arrangements with the additional collaboration of Vincent Artaud - allowing us to rediscover these enchanting songs, revealed in a new light.
