Costello goes solo tonight

Tracey Renault

One of modern music's most versatile performers, Elvis Costello, will grace the Rec Hall tonight, going solo with his favorite songwriter and producer Nick Lowe.

Rumor has it that Elvis, touring without his backup group, the Attractions, will bring his spinning wheel of songs that determines what songs he will play and sometimes, how many times he will play them.

Riding on the success of his most recent endeavor, Elvis Sings Again, a series of concerts on Broadway, Elvis is once again on the promotion trail, this time for his most recent album Blood & Chocolate.

Tickets, $15.50 ASUCD/GSA/LSA and $17.50 general admission, are available at all Bass and Ticketron outlets. The program is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
