"They sprinkled an eager crowd (of which I was among) at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, March 2, with that combination of sixties pop and more. Although I was waiting for a never delivered "Sugar, Sugar" encore, The Rubinoos charmed the audience with a near perfect reading of the Beatles chestnut, "Please Please Me" and their own undeniable pop classics from The Rub's '78 release.
