Fan reviews

As Elvis Costello walked onto the circular, revolving stage within the Melody Tent in Hyannis, MA, the night was filled with opportunity, and, as per usual, Elvis Costello capatilized.

Throughout the staggering set, Costello joked lightly and sang heavily as he, The Imposters, Allen Toussaint, The Cresent City Horns, and AB Brown ran through as many songs as they could in this marathon.

The stand-out performance of the night came in the shape of a reformatted 'Clubland', which mixed the samba feel it encased during Costello's "My Flame Burns Blue" album, with the rock-driven chorus of it's original appearance on "Trust".

After the show I had the privalege of meeting The Imposters and Mr.Costello, and all seemed to be in high spirits after a wonderful show.

Tomorrow Costello and the team hit Boston, MA's Bank of America Pavillion, and I'll also be there, hoping that this concert will equal The Melody Tent's masterpiece.
