Jo Marshall on stage.

Recorded two songs written by Elvis Costello:

Mighty Man
True Love
(c. May 1979, Jo Marshall Demos)

In her book Elvis Costello - A Completely False Biography Based on Rumour, Innuendo and Lies (1981), Krista Reese writes that in May 1979, Jo Marshall was invited by Jake Riviera to travel to London where she recorded two songs written for her by Elvis.

"Marshall was the first to use the new studios at Acton, and with Elvis on lead, Nick Lowe on a fretless bass, Steve Nieve on keyboards and Pete Thomas on drums they cut the two songs Elvis had written for her."

Jo Marshall (real name Josephine Sorrentino) died in the late '90s.
