My Aim Is True

Elvis Costello

Michael Clark

A minus

Now I don't know, but I've been told that this guy is the next star of rock 'n' roll. Elvis sounds a lot like Bruce Springsteen (of rock 'n' roll past) and Graham Parker. He is interesting, to say the least. "Welcome to the Working Week" sounds like an early '60s song, and "Alison" sounds like a hit. Elvis looks weird and is musically bizarre at times, but he seems to have what it takes to make it — i.e., talent. And in these days of the New Wave, how sweet it is to see!
