"MY AIM IS TRUE" DELUXE EDITION

Elvis Costello once again his debut album

Costello, then as now, where you put it is: it is an artist for all seasons. His music is an injection of energy cane in pieces such as the opening words of crazy Welcome The Working Week, Less Than Zero, Mystery Dance, Watching The Detectives

English via Google Translate...

Rome, December 21, 2007 to Costello, now as then, is where you put it; could flourish in any other period of the music of the last fifty years, and he would have found its place without changing one iota of his musicality.

Elvis Costello artist for all seasons. His music is an injection of energy today as it was then, as when in 1977 he broke the cardboard wall of indie discography against which he had rebounded briefly, dropping nonchalantly on the market for an English punk album that, with its two-minute songs all perfectly carried out, it was a challenge to express how many, so many, they had attitude but zero pieces gamble away.

The challenge of the songs could be called, easily won when you cane in pieces such as the opening words of crazy Welcome The Working Week, Less Than Zero, Mystery Dance, Watching The Detectives - a single to another, so strong as to be left out of the disk To avoid distorting the market thirty laps - Alison and when your guns are like outtakes There's no Action or Radio Sweetheart.

If all this were not enough good things, a live concert at the Nashville Room, London, in November 1977, between a Stiff Tour and the other, gives us the electrified and electrifying atmosphere of a vintage Elvis rode like a champion right away. Can you imagine what would have happened if John Lennon that day in 1957 instead of meeting Paul McCartney had met someone like Elvis?
