Hot Gossip: There have been stranger bedfellows, I suppose, but how does Paul McCartney and Elvis Costello strike you?

The story goes that Daryl Hall, of Hall and Oates fame, was in London's Air Studios recently to help out old four-eyes Elvis on his new album.

McCartney was recording next door, liked what he heard, wandered over to get a closer listen, and ended up adding a few embellishments of his own. Don't be surprised if a Costello-McCartney duet results. You read it here first ...
