My Aim Is True

Elvis Costello

Robin Welles / Copley News Service

Elvis is a 22-year-old, blue-jeaned dude from Britain whose always-present glasses are as black as his hair. He's been writing songs since he was 14 and, Fender guitar slung over shoulder, he puts them across with honesty and utter conviction. The themes are the usual loving and losing, but the imagery is realistic and insightful. The lad is rich with talent.
