Whereas Get Happy!! featured 20 new songs on one disc, this year's model features old Costello, not previously released in the U.S.

Because they were recorded over a period of four years with various musicians, the songs are varied and make good listening fare in album form.

There are a couple of country-flavored songs with which Elvis launched his career in 1977, "Stranger in the House" and "Radio Sweetheart" (take notice, aspiring rock stars, that both Elvises started out with country songs).

His version of the Rodgers and Hart oldie, "My Funny Valentine," is a beautifully sung ballad with only a softly strummed guitar as accompaniment.

How about a killer version of Van McCoy's "Getting Mighty Crowded." Elvis does 'em all with spirit.

The result is not a bunch of losers, but a fun album offering much insight into one of rock's major figures.
