"Lipstick Vogue," "Heart Of The City," "I Can’t Stand Up For Falling Down," "Radio Radio," and that was just the first four songs in a blistering set. The one-time new wave grudge-bearer hit his one-time home with song-choice spins of chance rather than a structured set-list, and Elvis kept up an astonishing pace for two hours, demonstrating what a fantastic sound he and The Imposters can generate from four basic components. Most of the classics were present and correct, including a poignant rendition of "Tramp The Dirt Down," in the city where its subject matter meant the most.
