Elvis Costello, who has just completed his provincial tour of Britain, releases a new single of F-Beat this weekend. It's "High Fidelity" from his Get Happy album and the B-side is a previously unreleased version of Betty Everett's "Getting Might Crowded."
There is also a limited edition 12-inch version which includes a newly recorded version of "Clowntime Is Over."
Costello and the Attractions leave for a European tour via the Channel Islands next weekend and there may be more British gigs in major cities to follow.
