Three singles off one album, eh? Well it's praise enough that all three have been excellent and they could pull another couple off without it hurting. This is speedier than "Alison" although maybe not quite as haunting: the difference will be publicity — of which there's been lashings. He STILL reminds me of Parker and Springsteen — so much so that it's worth mentioning — but that's a good vein to tap. He's an original — yeah, with his quirky tales of revenge and rejection. Chart cert, for this blues-chasing beaty opus. | |||
