Elvis Costello and The Attractions, Sham 69, Aswad and Misty are to headline a Carnival No. 2 organised by Rock Against Racism and the Anti-Nazi League in Brixton on September 24.

The Carnival is scheduled to depart from Hyde Park at 11am and according to a RAR spokesman will include even more floats and bands than the first carnival which marched from Hyde Park to Victoria Park in Hackney. Other groups who have already offered their services to the organisers include Menace and The Members.

The procession will finish up with a multi-cultural event in Brockwell Park, Brixton.

There is a possibility that Tom Robinson will play a solo acoustic set in Hyde Park but this is still to be confirmed.

Costello, Sham to head second RAR Carnival

Sounds
