Style Guide

Until we have a style guide, here's a link to Wikipedia's Style Guide.

Date Format

1. YYYY-MM-DD format to be used.

Song and Album Titles

1. In song titles, all words should be capitalized. Use all punctuation and (parenthesis). For instance:
   • (I Don't Want To Go To) Chelsea
   • (What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love And Understanding?
   • ...This Town...
   • Tear Off Your Own Head (It's A Doll Revolution)
   • When I Was Cruel No. 2
   • Dust 2...
   • ...Dust
2. In album titles, all words should be capitalized. Use all punctuation, including colons and slashes. For instance:
   • Get Happy!!
   • Piano Jazz: Costello/McPartland
   • Songs Of Elvis Costello: Bespoke Songs, Lost Dogs, Detours & Rendezvous

Naming Conventions for Images

I propose verbose naming conventions rather than short abbreviations, mainly to make the wiki search engine easier to use. These are merely suggestions -- we should have a discussion about it before we go too far. -- JohnH
Note: we may be able to use spaces instead of underscores, I believe the Wiki sees them as the same thing.

Albums

yyyy_Name_Name_Name_Name_Album_size, for instance:

1977_My_Aim_Is_True_Album_large.jpg
1977_My_Aim_Is_True_Album_small.jpg - anything around 240 pixels
1977_My_Aim_Is_True_Album_thumb.jpg
