Setlists zip updated

These have been updated to include links to the old EC Home Page, similar to Concert 1979-02-08tv.

I'll start on 1979 -- JohnH
Here's the link to the setlists zip file, if anyone wants to work on other years.
Setlists zip file updated one more time with minor changes, such as added Submitted by.
I entered a few from 1999, but I'm puzzled by one thing. After I enter, for example, Concert 1999-01-22, that date becomes a working link on the Template:Gigography 1999 page, but it still appears as a non-working link (in red, at least on my browser) on the Gigography 1995-1999 page. I can't figure out what's causing that.

I can't figure it out -- sometimes it seems that preexisting links to newly created pages take a while to switch from "red" "edit" links to "blue" "view" links... -- JohnH 10:58, 5 June 2006 (CDT)

I'm going to start on 1994. -- JohnH 13:18, 6 June 2006 (CDT)

Completed years

  • 1979-1998 are done. -- JohnH 01:27, 6 June 2006 (CDT)
  • I think everything from the zip file has been entered, and I've finished entering a bunch of 1986-1993 setlists which I already had semi-neatly arranged on my computer. Are there any other setlist stashes we should know about? --Nunki 11:47, 13 June 2006 (CDT)
I was wondering where those additional setlists were coming from.
And amazed that you were averaging one-a-minute... -- JohnH 11:58, 13 June 2006 (CDT)
Yes, there are a few more, that are text only. They are available at setlists_txt.zip. --JohnE 15:19, 13 June 2006 (CDT)

Dust / Dust 2... / ...Dust

As I start to enter 2002 set lists, I'm wondering about the best way to list this song. The live arrangement combines elements from both Dust 2... and ...Dust. The live version on Cruel Smile is called simply Dust. The live version on the Japanese My Flame Burns Blue is called ...Dust, but it follows the same basic arrangement as the Cruel Smile version.

Should the gigography call it Dust? If so, should the separate Dust 2... and ...Dust song pages be combined? Should it be listed as a medley: Dust 2... / ...Dust? (I'm not certain that EVERY performance combines both songs...) --Nunki 22:53, 6 June 2006 (CDT)

I'm definitely unable to answer this one.
But I do like the idea of combining multiple versions of songs on one page, where it makes sense. -- JohnH 12:33, 7 June 2006 (CDT)

Category when there is a section entry

Am I doing the right thing adding a category for each section that has an entry on a concert page:

  • Setlists
  • Previews
  • Reviews
  • Fan Reviews
  • Photos
  • Tickets
  • Stage Passes
  • Stage Setlists
  • Posters
  • Programs
  • Bootlegs

Are these needed? Are they the exactly right terms and capitalization? Are any more required? It seems like a good time to get this right before it is hard to change? --JohnE 02:01, 26 October 2006 (CDT)

I think a category for each of those makes sense. I would only cap the first word. -- JohnH 08:10, 26 October 2006 (CDT)
