The Ryko Armed Forces lists PL&U with a question mark, but the Columbia cd does not.
Which way should we do it? -- JohnH

JohnE 16:01, 26 March 2006 (CST): From memory, the Ryko re-releases fixed a few problems that occurred with the initial releases. I think it is with a ?, but could be corrected on that. I have always included the ? on the EC Home Page.

Image naming

• Perhaps a general naming convention would be good to start with, and then expand into the specific types. Included in this could be guidelines for the different types: large, small, thumb, with rough or preferred dimensions. - JohnE 18:24, 26 March 2006 (CST)

• Naming of Albums sems different to the rest of the naming scheme, as Album is spelt with a capital letter, whereas other image types take a lower case, e.g. concert, ticket. - JohnE 18:12, 26 March 2006 (CST)

Yeah, I was uploading files and making up a convention at the same time, resulting in inconsistencies. Once we have it in concrete, I'll go back and fix those. -- JohnH 19:53, 26 March 2006 (CST)

• Bibliography images: I think country should only be used where there are magazines with the same name available in different countries. In these cases the coutnry should come after the mazine name:

Singles

Has anyone given any thought to naming conventions/organization for singles? I've been avoiding adding them to the song pages until we can decide the best way of doing it. Organization is the key, especially in cases of multi-part singles (like the London's Brilliant Parade singles), with different track configurations on the various formats. It could get unwieldy very quickly. Perhaps a "London's Brilliant Parade (single)" page, or something to that effect, which will then contain all of the variants? The "Release Information" sections of the album pages on the Graphical Discography on the old home page are so elegant in how the different releases are organized, I'm hoping we can come up with as good a solution here. I'm anxious to hear any thoughts/ideas on this anyone may have. -- CraigM 23:10, 13 May 2006 (CDT)
