CD liner notes by Wim Wenders:
I am grateful to each and everyone of the musicians who have so generously responded to our proposition of projecting themselves into the year 1999 with us. I am very proud of the music assembled in this movie and on this album.
I want to thank Sharon Boyle and Gary Goetzman for their relentless efforts to put it all together, as well as Steven Baker and all the people at Warner Records. And thanks to Forelle, Ray Davies, Peter Przygodda, Georg Alexander and Solveig.
To my brother Klaus, who would have liked this record.
