Thanks John. I sort of like the TOC though. I'll be expanding the bio more, soon. thepopeofpop 16:31, 23 March 2006 (CST)

All These Things

John, I entered lyrics for All These Things based on the version on the B&C bonus disc. Don't know how you want to handle situations like this - different versions of same song on multiple albums w/ different personnel, etc. CraigM 02:10, 21 April 2006 (CDT)

That's fine by me. If it turns out to be another recording of the same song, we could just use one the one page and have separate sections for the musicians on each one. Or we could have an All These Things (2006) page. Needs more thought, and some input from others. We don't have to decide today. -- JohnH 02:22, 21 April 2006 (CDT)

How do you use Stub Pages

I can't figure that out. WikiSysop 03:06, 23 March 2006 (CST)

What I called a stub was actually just some "boiler-plate" text that I copied over and over from one empty page to the next. There's no magic to it, it doesn't allow for any automation or anything. I just thought that if we had some basic forms, folks could cut and paste from the html side to the wiki. -- JohnH 03:21, 23 March 2006 (CST)
Which reminds me: anyone not using the Mozilla Firefox browser for this editing work should give it a try -- you can't beat tabbed browsing. -- JohnH 03:21, 23 March 2006 (CST)

New AB song page

John, the changes all make sense and look good. I especially like putting the link to the original album release in bold, because that can get overwhelming with all of the reissues. I'd say run with the new page! -- CraigM 11:29, 22 April 2006 (CDT)

Thanks. New pages up shortly. -- JohnH 11:37, 22 April 2006 (CDT)

Removing pages

John -- what's the best way to get rid of pages? I want to get rid of the current "I'm Your Toy" page and move the "I'm Your Toy (Hot Burrito Number 1)" page (which I edited to explain the song title change) to the title of "I'm Your Toy". Couldn't figure out how to remove the "I'm Your Toy" page, so I moved it to my user page so the page name would change, but the I'm Your Toy links remain and just redirect to its new location. Help!! CraigM 16:26, 23 April 2006 (CDT)

Try this -- go to the IYT page, click Edit, remove the text (the redirect command), and save it as a blank page.

No luck. I removed the redirect and saved, but the page remains (blank except for title). I guess I could just copy the contents of the Hot Burrito page over, but that will leave an ophaned page, which was what I was trying to avoid to start with. -- CraigM 17:04, 23 April 2006 (CDT)

Am I just dumb or what, because I cannot figure out how to make the chords all fit into that nice little boxy thing that it does. I looked at other pages and it appears as though it was just a straight copy and paste job from the original page to the wiki one ("Alison" being the my reference), but when I do a regualr copy and paste I come up with what's on the "American Without Tears" page. Help me out please, I'd like to put up the chords to some of the songs you've got and I also have a few songs transcribed myself that weren't on the original website. -- If 23:22, 23 April 2006 (CDT)Stephen
