The album The Boy Named If (Alive At Memphis Magnetic) was released digitally on November 25, 2022. It includes 10 tracks recorded by Elvis Costello, The Imposters, and guitarist Charlie Sexton at Memphis Magnetic Recording in October 2021 and May 2022, plus a remix of Magnificent Hurt. The tracks previously released on The Boy Named If were also included as an unannounced first disc.

Elvis explained in the January 2023 issue of Uncut: "And we've got another record! It's The Boy Named If (Alive At Memphis Magnetic). We have two recording sessions, one from last October, when The Imposters first played the songs from The Boy Named If live together, and another session in May. We started playing some other songs by other people. There's a track in Japanese on it! I heard this terrific duo called Kimiko and we invited them to rework 'Magnificent Hurt'."
(Elvis either misspoke or was misquoted regarding "Kimiko." The Japanese duo is chelmico.)
The chelmico Remix of Magnificent Hurt was released November 18, 2022.
