Elvis Costello is to play his first gig in years at London’s Dingwalls on June 28. It is all part of the club’s tenth anniversary celebrations – but fans will have to pay £12.50 for the privilege.

A host of other bands have also been fixed up to play the venue at lower prices. Mari Wilson plays there on June 25 while on June 27 Nick Lowe appears with Paul Carrack – Squeeze’s old keyboards player. And The Respond Package – featuring The Questions and Tracie – will return to the venue for a concert on June 30.
